Teurlings quarterback Preston Welch signed his letter of intent to play at Nicholls State. Welch will look to line up as the signal caller for the Colonels.
The UL football team also picked up some talent from the state of Louisiana.
One of the players UL recruiting coordinator Tim Leger brought in this year was stud running back Steven Blanco from St. Martinville.
