BATON ROUGE, La. (KADN) — It's been a breakout season for Lafayette native and LSU star wide receiver Malik Nabers.

The Southside High graduate leads the nation on receiving yards and is a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which is given to college football's top receiver.

Nabers granted News 15 an exclusive interview in Baton Rouge on Thursday, Nov. 30.

The 6-foot, 200-pound pass catcher has caught 86 passes for 1,546 yards and 14 touchdowns during the 2023 season.

The junior has a total of 186 catches for 2,983 yards and 21 touchdowns in his career as a Tiger.

He is LSU's all-time leader in receptions and needs just 22 yards to pass fellow Acadiana native, Josh Reed of Rayne, to become the Tigers' all-time leader in receiving yards.
